New Music, New site, New Sounds, New Perspective on Life

Peace,

Some may call this an abrupt change, I call it personal evolution. It's strange that I would shake things up so early in the game of our recent success of our radio mix show "Generation Next w/ DJ Pete Marriott" but after our more recent "24 Hours to Give: Marathon mix for Haiti" Broadcast weekend I had a calling to use my skills as a DJ/Record Producer for the greater good and so began a combined convergence… Continue

Ben Greaves

Dear members - an introduction on a rainy day:

My name is Ben Greaves. I have been working in the sound business for the past 17 years, since I was 19. My father is an accomplished musician and I spent a lot of my childhood in recording studios and at live music venues. I have a deep appreciation for the creative side of these endeavors but my attention was always drawn to the flashing lights on mixing consoles, the miles of sticky black cable and shiny microphones on sticks! In 1994, I began my career at the Townhouse Studios in London as a… Continue

Announcement or Latest Tip

I put up an example on my own home page so that everyone can see how they might take advantage of the text box that everyone has. It is specific to your page only and anyone can click on your name or photo and be taken to your page. One idea I had was to use it to let people know what is going on with you at this time. For example, your working on a project with so and so and will be finished on a certain date. Or, you are doing only day calls and would look forward to hearing from any one interested in your service. You could also put a resume here for people to see. Anyone that has a IMDB page could put it here for easy reference. This text box allows you to create a link, upload a file, attach an image and of course text. You can use it for many things, these are just a few suggestions. You can change, add or delete things from here by just clicking "edit" This is a great place to promote yourself. Remember your profile is also a great place to let people know who you are. Use it to your best advantage.

TIP#1. You can rearrange the location of things on your My Page by just dragging and dropping. Make it your own.
Tip#2. If you need help understanding all the areas of interest here check out the HELP FILE I added in the notes area in the left column.
